2. ARE DEPOSITS AT SAVINGSSQUARE.COM FDIC INSURED?

Yes, to the maximum allowed by law. SavingsSquare.com is a product of Kirkpatrick Bank, Edmond, Oklahoma. Deposits made at Kirkpatrick Bank are FDIC insured up to $250,000 per depositor. Individual accounts and joint accounts are insured separately, so if you have both types of accounts with us, your total deposits can be insured up to $500,000; that’s up to $250,000 in all your individual accounts, and up to an additional $250,000 in your joint accounts.

3. DO I HAVE TO CHANGE BANKS TO HAVE A SQUARE?

No. You can open a new Square and fund it electronically from one of your existing bank accounts! Once Your Square is active, you can easily transfer money into and out of your account with our external transfer service. There are no limits on the number of accounts you can connect and checking, money market and savings accounts are all eligible as external transfer sources.

4. HOW DO YOU KEEP MY INFORMATION AND ACCOUNT SECURE?

5. HOW OFTEN WILL I RECEIVE A STATEMENT?

All Savings Square Account Statements are delivered electronically on a monthly basis through Internet Banking at SavingsSquare.com. You will be notified via email when your statements are available. Just login to SavingsSquare.com and click on Accounts then Documents. All of your Square Account Statements will be available there for up to 24 months.

6. HOW DO I ACCESS MY SQUARE?

SavingsSquare.com will provide instructions on how to access Your Square. You will gain access to Your Square through the use of your internet-enabled device, your ISP, your Password and your User ID. You may access Your Square 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; however, availability of the services may be suspended for brief periods of time for purposes of maintenance, updating and revising the software.

7. HOW DO I BULK UP MY SQUARE?

Once Your Square is active, you can establish verified external account relationships for additional electronic deposits (must be from a US chartered bank). A relationship can only be established with accounts having the same owner and must be able to accept electronic funds transfers. Any time you want to bulk up Your Square, simply schedule a Square Deposit. Square Deposits may take 2-3 business days to process. Temporary holds of 5 business days may be placed on deposits received subsequent to your initial deposit. Question: Aren’t new account holds placed for 9 days not 5? A hold of 10 business days may be placed on your initial deposit.

8. HOW DO I TRIM A LITTLE OFF MY SQUARE?

Square Account withdrawals may be made electronically to any verified external account. Square Account withdrawals may take 2-3 business days to process. You are not allowed to overdraw this account.

9. HOW DO I START MY SQUARE?

Starting a Square at SavingsSquare.com is as easy as clicking Apply Now and following the application instructions. To get a Square at SavingsSquare.com you must be at least 18 years of age, be a US citizen, have a valid social security number, and a bank account in a US Bank.

10. HOW DO I KNOW WHEN MY ACCOUNT IS OPEN?

Once you have submitted your online application, you will see a confirmation page with instructions on the status of Your Square. If your application is approved, your account will be funded, and you will receive instructions about accessing Your Square for the first time. If we need to take some additional steps to complete the application process, we will contact you in 2 to 3 business days with our decision.
